A Scots Confession was written within 1560 by six leaders of the Protestant Reformation in Scotland, coincidentally wholly known as "John". A Confession was a number 1 Book of Faith for the Protestant Scottish Kirk. A Six Johns were Knox, Spottiswoode, Willock, Row, Douglas and Winram. Although a Confession & its incidental to documents were truly a product of the joint effort of the captain hicks Johns, its authorship is customarily attributed to John Knox.
